  1. hi..this is to the owner or manager..im in your location 2 or 3 times per week and at least a quarter of the times your cashier will try to give me too much change.i have never been shorted its always too much money and I always stop the cashier and point out that she has given me too much money..they always argue with me but I insist they take back the excess because I know they wont balance at the end of their shift. Well tonite was the last straw.. my order came to 8.99 I gave your cashier a 20 she gave me 16.00 change..when I pointed out to her that she gave me too much money she argued with me and insisted she was right and I gave up. What is alarming is this happens all the time and if its happening to me how many other people are being given too much money..How much are you out every night?? I have worked cash for over 40 years and I have trained cashiers and your staff need basic math skills..if they cant figure out that 9 from 20 is not 16 ..god help you!

  2. I’ve been going to this location 1-2 times a day, 5 days a week for about 6 months now, because it’s close to work for me.
Within this time I’ve had nothing but terrible service and my drink made incorrectly almost everytime. I seldomly order food because it’s either the complete wrong sandwich/ wrap given to me each time. And I’ve put up with it because of the convenience of the location. But after today’s service I’ve decided I will now make the extra 5 min drive to another location.
I wanted to order the new chicken sandwich and they were out of the buns it is regularly served on, which is fine. I was offered it on an English muffin to which I asked for a bagel instead (more than willing to pay whatever extra it might cost) and the woman on the drive thru speaker said “no, that’s managements decision”. Myself, having been a Tim Hortons employee for multiple years in the past, knowing that they can and SHOULD make substitutes per customers request.
My point being, I’m fed up with the low quality costumer service from this location and they have lost a regular costumer.

  3. Despite complaining to staff/manager/head office this franchise regularly gets orders wrong. Not everyone can check their order to see that the bagels all have no butter or cheese. While I should be grateful time after time that I at least got the bread itself I am wondering if having so many workers is working. As this is the sole franchise I feel people simply put up with the poor quality of product and inconsistency of service.

  4. BY FAR THE WORST TIMS ANYWHERE!!!! I just visited this tims for the very LAST time! I have not yet had one good experience here. In the summer my friend and I came in and while we waited forever to get service, a buzzing noise was going on…15 minutes later when we finally were served it was still going…they have more then 10 employess at times and still maybe one very slow person works the front of the store, all of the rest work drive thru or kitchen. They ignore you for the most part anyways. We had to go eat outside because they never shut the buzzing off, even when my friend went in to use the washroom it was still going. On countless occasions I have gone into the store because the drive thru was taking way too long just to be even more disappointed when I got inside. Today after waiting a very very very long time while watching staff chit chat and laughing with a huge line up inside and out, i made my order with the minimal selection that was left and left only to find my tea to be barely luke warm, once i got home and they had put cream in my tea instead of milk. They need to get the manager from the innifil location by the 400 to come here and retrain this whole place because they have there act together and the lines move so fast and service is awesome. Never ever ever will i go in here again, oh and the place is always a mess but thats no suprise. I was even someone who called in a complement for service here long ago, how it has certainly changed!!!

  5. I am currently here and watched the worker grab a customer’s muffin and donut with her bare hands as they were out of wax paper
That is disgusting. I worked here for 8 years about 5yrs ago and that would have been a termination
This tim hortons has severely went down hill. Disgusting.

  6. Service is terrible. Counter staff is inattentive and more interested in talking to each other than serving the customer. The store is filthy inside and out. If you have the time go to the Innisfil Beach Road & Highway 400 location in the morning Monday to Friday and you will see what real service is, especially with Lori-Ann and Heather.

  7. I go to this Tim Horton’s daily as do several friends who meet up here. It is an ongoing joke about the service and the cleanliness, but unfortunately it is the most convenient place to meet. Service is slow due to staff cuts which are obvious. Not the staff’s fault…recently changed franchisee and has gone steadily down hill since. CLEANLINESS IS HORRIBLE!!! By far the worst Tim’s I have ever been in. Ongoing joke when I go there how long certain items on the floor will stay there…more than a week in a restaurant is unacceptable. Windows are so dirty you can’t hardly see out of them (Up until about a year ago window washer was there once per week when we had coffee at 9am in the morning)…now never! Not sure whether Health Canada or Tim’s do random inspections but this one certainly gets a “FF”. We are not the only ones who feel this way as per above comments. CAN’T WAIT FOR MCDONALDS TO GET AN STROUD/INNISFIL STORE…This store would be empty!!! Note the Stars…only putting 1 star on cleanliness as there is no space for “0 Stars”

  8. I worked here for 8yrs from whe I was 15 til I was 23.
There use to be such standards at this tim hortons around customer service, speed and quality.
I know ownership has changed and this must mean it’s just a cash cow now.
    There is zero standards
I was basically just told to F myself cause I ordered tea and they gave me coffee and I wanted it corrected.
No one says hello, thank you or anything.
This would be an instant termination in my day but no one seems to care anymore. I will not darken the doorway again. There should always be a standard and the standard at stroud tim hortons is just…oh well who cares….

  9. Since ownership change the service has gone unacceptable.
No donuts available at 610am on a Friday at a donut store.
Waiting 15 minutes for an online order.

  10. service is SLOW!!!!! No breakfast sandwiches available at 5:30… ummm… why?

  11. I have to agree with the posts above. I just attended the Stroud location and the drive thru was backed up so I parked and went inside – bad decision! They did not notice me, or others behind me. They finally took my order, coffee and a farmer wrap. Coffee was wrong, waited 10 min and asked the ETA on the wrap. Apparently they were waiting on hash browns to cook. After 15 min of waiting and being assured it was just one more minute, I had to leave as I was late for an appt. do yourself a favour and pass this location.

  12. I am assuming this establishment is under new management. I had not visited this place for about 4 months and when I came back I had noticed a big change in staff. 3 days in a row my coffee order was wrong. Once it tasted like warm water very little coffee taste. I could not drink it. 2nd day was only 3/4 full. 3rd day no sweetener which I ordered. They have mixed up other orders as well. I use this Tim’s every morning on my way to work. I miss the other staff. They were very friendly and efficient. Back in June and prior to that my order very rarely got messed up. I travel through there at 5:15 am. not sure what it is like during the day. I drive right by another Tim’s that just opened in southeast end of Barrie. But I choose Stroud. I will be changing if things do not get better.

  13. Unsure if this place is plagued by laziness or incompetence, but it’s definitely one or the other. I drive out of town for my drinks. Oh and the menu says they serve decaf, but they don’t.
