My French is imperfect but I tried to communicate with the staff. But they didn’t try to understand me so some of my order was wrong. My companion, who had no French at all, simply pointed to the items in the case that he wanted. They charged him for three things and then ignored him as well, even as several people after us got their order and left. He walked out totally empty-handed but had been charged. He has disputed that charge with the credit card company. We tried to speak to the manager of Tim Hortons Store #1527 bet he refused to even make eye contact with us. He simply waited on others.
Neither of us have ever been so badly treated in a restaurant before. Tim Horton’s should post a sign in the Quebec stores that says “Non-French Speakers are not allowed’. I like Tim Horton’s but despise Quebec. I will never transit that province again.
