My husband & I stopped at the above store #2218 on Colborne Rd. Sarnia about 3:30 p.m. today. Following our treat, I used the ladies washroom and was absolutely disgusted with the condition I found it in. The handicapped side had FECES on the floor in a couple of areas, and the grout in the tiles on the wall hadn’t been cleaned since God knows when. There was pink mold growing on those tiles. The water to wash your hands was cold. When I came out I reported the condition to one of the servers who said he would take care of it, although he said there wasn’t any store manager present at that time.
As for the restaurant, there were 2 tables occupied by young teenagers, some of whom had dropped their backpacks on the floor in the path where customers had to walk. They were jumping around in the seats and one lad jumped up and walked along the bench seat where other customers would likely have to sit. At another seat, 2 young pre teen lads came in to the store, dragging their scooters with them and plopped down in a seat. At that point, I went up and asked if there was a supervisor present who would ask those boys to take their scooters outside. She did approach them and they left but promptly returned though they left the scooters outside. All in all, it was a very unpleasant experience and I feel the store manager needs to impress on his staff what he/she will and will not allow as far as young teens behaviour in the store, plus keep the washrooms in very clean and sanitary condition, particularly in light of the current pandemic situation where we are all trying to be cautious about cleanliness and safety.
