To Head Office/Corporate Affairs:
I have a serious issue with Store #76 (239 King Street West – Hamilton, ON.
My family member is employed there currently. Management is expecting her to clean up needles without any type of protective measures in place. Also there are several situations where my daughter’s life is threatened up to and including murder. My daughter is a law abiding citizen and has been well raised and brought up.
Management stands idly by while my daughter is harrassed by the customers with deragotory comments to which there are no remedies offered. Management is not taking active measures to resolve ongoing issues.
Everyday there are incidents where my daughter is required to clean up poop on the mirrors smeared all over the bathrooms.
I think the conditions that she works under are deplorable and because my daughter is dedicated she has continued to put up with it.
I am frustrated with the conditions under which my daughter is subjected to work under . I realize that work comes with varying degrees of stress. The one thing I don’t like dealing with constantly is how badly it is affecting my child’s emotions and wellbeing.
