Never in the history of me ever going to a Tim Hortons and I have lived in my neighbourhood for 13 years. Have I ever seen an employee kick out kids cause they didn’t have money to buy something but they were just using Wi-Fi. My daughter was using Wi-Fi to get a hold of me and she was kicked out of the store. She wasn’t a disturbance. She wasn’t being disruptive, but she was just asked to leave the store because she is occupying space for a paying customer like that’s not very Canadian. Am I opinion, but if it’s policy, then let it be known that it’s policy but I didn’t know this and then my neighborhood. My store has never kick kids out for Not buying or purchasing Something. So the loophole for this is is to buy an ice water to buy an ice water pay for the cup and then you have least at least purchase something so parents tell your kids to purchase an ice water.
