Dreadful ! I feel so sorry for the staff at this location.This is my second time in for coffee and danishes. I’m a social /support worker for mentally challenged adults. I try to introduce them into the environment so they can cope with everyday tasks. We were across the street at the library and the bank and thought on both occasions we would have a coffee break. My first experience a week ago was just as worse as today’s (Jan.28/20 )we arrived barely being able to get into the door because the establishment was lined with high school teenagers.Every seat was taken by loud obnoxious foul mouth teenagers. I bit my tongue trying to pass on positive energy to my client. We ordered our drinks and donuts and the lovely women who rang us in was patient with trying to understand my clients order and the time it took him to pay. We stood looking for a table when a group of teens left to head over to another group so we slipped into the booth..which was so filthy from their spilled ice coffee,dirty tissues and crumbs ..an elderly gentleman walking pass us in disgust shook his head and said I’ve lived in this area for 50years and enjoy my walks to meet for coffee but it’s time for a new place..this is overrun by these rude kids. I walked to the counter and a nice staff member said they’d come an clean up the area. We tried to sip our coffee and have a chat when the table across from us with 7 students were yelling, swearing ,banging on the table..every 2nd word was an “F Bomb” I’m trying to teach my client manners, respect who has the mental ability of a 10yr old. I asked these kids on 3 occasions to watch their mouths ..only once a young female teenager apologized..but it continued. I watched one elderly women walk from shoppers to come into your establishment and after walking in she turned and left..then a red car pulled up in the handicap spot and after two elderly ladies with their canes exited..to come inside for lunch ,but after walking in an viewing the restaurant they turned and walked back out taking another 7 minutes to get themselves back into their car..I also witnessed one gentleman stroll in and also leave after viewing your restaurant. If you think these kids are purchasing from you..your sadly mistaken because from every table I viewed with 6or more students seated one drink was purchased. Very very sad. When my client needed to use the rest room the whole side of the restaurant that are lined with table and booths before you get to the washroom is lined with students..seated ,standing,pacing..my client couldn’t get through..your staff member immediately came over and told the students to move their backpacks off the aisle and to remain seated…she had to repeat this several times..I felt so sorry for her with this gang of 20 or more males being so ignorant. I went to the counter and thanked her when I made my way to the washroom. We gave our booth to two women that were waiting patiently for a seat to come vacant ..I like children..I’ve raised two grown well mannered respectful men..I work with children of all ages so this is not coming from a child hater…you must get a grip on your restaurant because your losing some very nice customers who are coming in to purchase a nice lunch and coffee with friends ..it seems you prefer rude students dropping a few bucks on a donut then real hard working folks. Shame on you for allowing this to happen..because this has been going on for quite sometime I hear!
