Enough bacon? We stopped into the Tim Horton’s last night as we always do prior to getting onto Highway 19 back to Courtenay. When the staff was filling our order two employees who were serving the drive through came past, obviously feeling confused. The male shook his head and muttered that he just didn’t know what to do with what just happened. The female exclaimed that the customer had harassed her to add additional bacon because he didn’t get enough. So they filled his order with additional bacon. The customer then came back and complained because they had put too much bacon in the order!? Really? I suggested that next time they might mention that too much and bacon are seldom used in the same sentence. You can’t make this stuff up! OMG some customers can be so foolish. The staff handled it well without anger – just genuine disbelief.
Worst customer service ever. If you want to confuse these employees and be ignored, then ask for a glass of water. I asked 3 times and got ignored. Asked the girl handling food and she refused and told me I had to ask the cashier. I asked, 3 of them looked at me but ignored my request. I went back to the food handling girl and said that I just want a glass of water. She tried to refuse me again. I told her that I asked the front store staff 3 times and they keep ignoring me. She yelled at the TOP of her lungs “Front store staff! Can someone get this lady a glass of water?!?” How embarrassing. Unbelievably unprofessional and childish behavior from the food handler.
After 10 mins, I got my water…. and dirty cutlery.
