Disappointed at the lack of ANY OF THE NATIONALLY advertised specials being in stock … seems like they were sold out of everything. Asked to speak to a manager – none in the store – staff NOT interested in hearing about multiple issues re: what was available what was “coming in soon” and “I just work here”.
Horrible service. On one occasion, I asked for a box of timbits with no blueberry timbits. When the server (Renee) asked if I meant assorted I said “yes, but” and listed only the 3 types of timbits I wanted. She again (rather condescendingly) asked if I wanted assorted and I said yes. I figured I was being ignorant and payed, not paying attention to what she put in my box. Unfortunately I opened the box after I was at work and found blueberry timbits. Thankfully I only have a distaste and not an allergy, but I was still disappointed.
Several other times I have entered the store during a busy lunch period to find only one of the two cashes open. Although the restaurant is busy enough to warrant two open registers, I have yet to see a time when they have both been open. There are 3-4 staff dedicated to the drive thru and only one is left to attend to the entire population of in-store customers. It makes the wait on a limited lunch break longer than it needs to be.
Today, myself and a friend went through the drive thru. We ordered and were told to pull up to the window, no total announced. Thankfully I caught the total ($4.61) on the screen before pulling up. We had the money ready and they instead asked for $5.50 at the window. Less than a dollar difference is really not a problem, but to have a total and then charge customers more is unprofessional. Especially if it is the job of the cashier to read the total, they should be doing it.
